If you ask me
a GFX community shouldnt be dark unless you are after a specific type of designing
but usually a gfx website should be bright so the designs people post would show off no matter what color they choose
But that is your choice and the skin you have right now is well designed
You could use the mod - Signature of the Month(i believe it was called that)
what it does is adds a box at the bottom of the forum
and every month you can go to your admin panel and place a link for the best design you saw on your forum, and it will display at the bottom !
that should be a good thing for your site,
good luck !

Too dark and I can't see much. Also I cannot tell why I should join your forum vs. another. It's a clean design, don't get me wrong. But I cannot understand the appeal of your forum. Is it to simply discuss graphics design?

well its about graphics and gaming like you can post your work and get feedback on it. also there are guides to how to use photoshop and what not.. thanks for all of your input and feedback... maybe the site slogan doesnt work too well to tell people what its about huh ?

Change the background color of the tcat and thead headings ;)
Currently they have a black background image, but the background color (shown wile loading the images) is blue (element style?), which is a bit strange. Change it to the same black as the background image of the tcat and thead.

okay so you are saying some blue is being shown due to this? okay thank you.. i think i have trouble trying to create a simplified layout best for professional cases.. you think the best bet would be to design a simple banner then to just use colors for the tcats and then use some nice icons?

I love dark themes for graphics forums. It works better with the art. Light themes clash with signatures and such and since it is a graphics forum, signatures are big. Get rid of the referral mod...it is annoying. The redirect script has to be fixed; that is a huge turnoff. Your top navbar links...a few of them all lead to the same page. Fix that. The chatbox on every page is a nuisance as that you want your members to post, not really chat the whole time and having it on every page just extends the page. Finally, cut down on all the forum sections and such. Besides that, the banner is a bit plain, especially for a graphics site and you could add a signature of the week mod and a points mod. Both would flourish with this type of site. Good luck and it looks great!

I've always disliked the chatbox at the top of forums, but that's just me. It looks unprofessional.
