Ok.. to explain i give an example
I run an artist site.. where artists can register and show their portfolio. (usergroup=artists)
there is a second usergroup called Managers
A "manager" should be able to "Manage" several artists.. ie to be able to access their ucp and pm system as them (without changing his username).
(this has nothing to do with privacy.. as lots of artists have an agent/manger that does all their letters and stuff - they themselves dont even have a computer)
I am thinking of something like following:
If an artist enters the username in the field: "manager:" and saves it.. the username he entered can manage his profile.. (plus in the artists profile - so others know - there should be : Manager: managers-username AND in the managers profile their would be: managing following artists: artistusername1, artistusername2 etc..)
each artist should only be able to have 1 manager . each manager can have several artists.
if a manager has several artist.. he should have a list from where he can choose which artist he wants to manage.
Example: if a "Manager" is in his UCP he has a dropdown with the names of the users he manages. If he selects one, he gets the page AS the selected user...
The maximum amount of artists a manager can manage should be defined in usergroup permissions.. and usergroup managers can not be managed by another group (no managing inheritance etc... which is obvious)
I dont know if it is feasable.. but it would be verymuch needed..
any thoughts are also welcome..
