rename the user and remove the special character ' from his name ...
when does this appear ? Are you running ibProArcade v2.6.3+ ?

I changed the name but it is still happening. I am running 2.6.3 +a
It appears to everyone when they access arcade.php. The arcade is not operational anymore.
***EDIT: I ended up just uninstalling and reinstalling it to fix.

If it happens again, try running through the UPDATE process at AdminCP>Arcade>Update User Names.
I'm guessing the "username" was still in the arcade's brain, even though you edited the name via the part of vbulletin "outside" of the arcade.

Okay. If you are truely "fearing the loss", go in via FTP and delete all the PHP files ONLY that are within your forums/arcade/ directory. Then reupload the latest and greatest from here. Then run the Product again, making sure you ticked the OVERWRITE EXISTING option.
If that doesn't work, please list out all the mods you have installed on your vbulletin.

Reinstalled still no joy. Games are still all there.
When I search on the main admincp the main that had the ' in it has gone, but when I search in the Arcade admincp for that name that I changed it just throws up another SQL error, so need something to let the arcade know that member is now removed ... the tools under members has been run to clean it up but no joy. As for mods on my site, lets just say I have nearly most of them installed.

Can one help me here please. Should I just install the entire arcade and reinstall it again, I presume I would need to start adding my games again if I do this.

Well, not sure what the deal is, but no you wouldn't need to reinstall the games if you remove and reload properly.
Delete ONLY and I repeat ONLY the arcade.php and then go into the /arcade/ directory and delete ONLY the files that have .php on the end of them. No need to go into your /tar/ or your /zip/ or your /gamedata/ directories.
Then, once you've done that, RE-Upload the latest and greatest version available of the arcade.
Next, go into your vb's AdminCP
Scroll down the left to Plugins & Products and ADD the arcade PRODUCT and when adding make sure you CHECK the box that says OVERWRITE. Your want this product to OVERWRITE your old stuff.
You do what I say, you won't have to worry about your games or your scores, etc.
Don't know if this is the issue, but I'm responding solely on your comment about asking if you need to reload games if you reinstall.
Also, keep in mind, when you PM Mr.ZeroPage, you gotta give him a few days. The guy is busy as hell and struggles to take the time that he does to help everyone. That's why I'm trying to jump in and take all the little questions away to free up some time for him.

The Arcade (2158 Games) - had quite a few games so was a very worried man there for a week.
