If the thread ID does not set, than the name of RSS feed will be the used as title of the topic.

I am testing this but thank you so much! I have been looking for something like this for months. This is one step towards a solution to an issue I have with RSS. I didn't see the point in clogging up the forum with tons of new threads that will get a low amount of comments on average. I am planning on using this on a thread but I don't want to allow users to comment in that thread. I would like for all replies for that forum to redirect to another thread so they are all concentrated in one place. Any suggestions for redirecting replies for one thread into another?

I'm wondering if your product can import Atom or other RSS types ? By default vBulletin can only read original RSS type, many RSS sources cannot be read by it!
Is here a difference?

Thank you!

I'm wondering if your product can import Atom or other RSS types ?

If there's an atom feed that you want to use on your vB, open a free FeedBurner account, burn the feed, and then 'convert the format' to RSS 2.0.

Takes about 30 seconds. Works fine with vB.

I'm sorry this is not all follow the topic, but can I ask for one more? I've use FeedBurner but how can I 'convert the format' to RSS 2.0 ? in the FeedBurner panel?
Thank you!

Hmm... well i just tried this, i wonder if i missed something, when i add the new rss source o see the "Post Items as Posts" option... but i can't tell it which thread will it go...

I'm having another issue... when rss creates a post, the content is only one line... but if i see this with my rss reader i get a paragraph, is this something related to vb?

Anyone knows how to modify this and show more content?
thanks

To ask again (I saw it further up) does anyone have a working example so we can see what it does exactly? I am looking for a mod that shows the new posts in the rss feed - for instance I use feedreader and it only shows the new threads right now I want it to show the thread title and the new post. I want it to show all new posts. Does this do that?
Thanks!
Chris

This isnt working quite right for me.

I continue getting multiple posts of the same feed. Any reason why?

I haven't installed this mod yet, but I was wondering if it corrected the issue?

I think it a problem of a feed.
Having installed the given module in your case nothing will change, as this module only changes a way of final accommodation of elements of a feed at a forum.
