RSS Feeds - longer string

Is there a way to get the RSS feed to accept a longer string? I am trying to enter an ebay string but it keeps getting cut off once I save it.

Looks like the URL field set to 250 characters. Are your urls longer than that? Apparently they are so you just need to change the max characters for that field in the DB.

Table: rssfeed
Field: url
Edit and change the varchar to mediumtext and the number from 250 to 500 then save. Not sure what the max for that field type is but you can try a higher number.
