and I reinstalled every file and reuploaded the product and made sure I checked to overwrite

Whwn you get an unexpected end error Mike it usually means the file in question has not uploaded 100%.

overwrite functions.php with a fresh version of that file.

10-4 I did that as suggested in the other thread, My problem was uplaoding it through my FTP client, I did it through my cpanel and it worked out better
