Hi, I just purchased and installed 3.6.8, I would like to add sub-forums under the main forums (such as http://forums.digitalpoint.com does under google, yahoo, ect.) How do I do it? I don't see a way in the admin. (but I'm a newbie)
Thanks, Ron

You need to set the Forum Listings Options, specifically the depths.

OK, I figured it out, just one more question, the sub-forums display vertically, but I would like them to display horizontally like this forum http://forums.digitalpoint.com
How do I do it?

In your admincp go to vBuletin Options -> Forum Listings Display Options and change the depth of subforums to display the subforums the way you like it. If you want subforums to show up as they do on that site, use the following depths:
Depth of Forums - Forum Home -> 2
Depth of Forums - Forum Display -> 1
Depth of Sub-Forums -> 1

Thanks. I convinced myself I needed a hack or mod or something, thanks for letting me know these settings would work.
This is what I ended up with using those settings for my site www.windychat.com
