You could jsut make dropdown customfields and then do something like this for the postbit:

<img="/path/to/img/$bbuserinfo[field7].gif" />

Make the image the same name as the value, so that when they specify their console, it'll replace that variable with their choice, thus it'll look for /path/to/img/Playstation 3.gif" />

I use this method for my gender icons.
