new game installing error

I have recently upgraded to the new update of the arcade system, and now when i try to install a game via a tar file i am now recieving the following error

/home/sites/play4.net/public_html/forums/arcade/gamedata is write-protected. Please change CHMOD to 0777 via FTP.

I have not changed the permissions and cannot find the /gamedata directory, can anyone please tell me what is causing this error?

I`ve had this happen to me too..

Upload the gamedata folder again,,then CHMOD it...
