delete RSS thread after X days

Now Running 17 RSS news feeds into 17 forums, with zero to little replies, but decent enough viewing occuring. I notice that my disk capacity is going way up and would like to automatically delete these RSS threads older than seven days on a daily basis. Is there a modification that can do this for me?

If all of your RSS feeds are running into a seperate sub-forum / forum where no-one else has the right to post new threads...

I would reccomend this:

Ok thank you, I will give this a try but would you explain what this means, it is from the RSS Manager help button.

Select this option to have threads posted by this RSS feed automatically close after the delay specified in 'Thread Action Delay'.

Does "autimatically close" equal a hard delete?

Just what happens to the thread when it closes?

How is the hack rountine better or not from the "Thread Action Delay" rountine?

And thanks again for your suggestion.

No, close simply means the thread is locked and no one outside of a mod or admin can post in it anymore (or reopen it). But it can still be viewed. (Ex closed thread: Mass-Moving (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=156167))
