A few changes id like to make to my forums

First off this is my forums.. http://www.thebaymusic.com/forums/

THere are a few things i'd like to change about my forums.

1. Id like to be able to have certain sections of my forums (ie. downloads section) only available to either a certain user group, or to only users who have had 50 or more posts. Can this be done without a hack?

2. I want to make the quick reply automaticly enabled, without having to click the quick reply button in someones response/reply.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

#1: Is the Downloads section a Forum or some other Software?
#2: vBulletin Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options -> Quick Reply; Yes, Click Not Required

#1, yes a forum that acts as a "category" with other forums under it. I want the category to be un-enterable for users who havent posted at least 50x

If you want to avoid modifying your Forum through Plugins, you could use the Forum Promotions and Permissions system to allow this. For example, setup a Usergroup that contains the Users allowed to view this forum; then you setup a Usergroup Promotion that moves Regular Users into this new Usergroup when they've reached 50 posts; then restrict access to the new Forum for all users except those in the new Usergroup.
