How to add icon next to website name on tab

This probably has nothing to do with vbulletin, but how do you change the icon next to your website name in the tabs. Im using mozilla firefox browser and noticed most websites have a customized icon in the tabs. Any idea on how to change this? Thanks.

Are you referring to the favicon? If so, which I believe you are, all you need to do is upload a converted image called a favicon [favicon.ico] - favorite icon - to your web directory (usually where your root files are located (index.php, member.php, profile.php).

Some websites will allow you to upload a gif image and convert it to an .ico image to put on your website.
