Making styles unavailable to certain usergroups

anyone tried this? or more importantly succeeded

e.g. A style that only mods and above can use.

Where would you start if you wanted to implement something along these lines.

There's a lot of functionality missing in this regard that i've messed around with. I'm afraid I can't be helpful in this regard, but it would be interesting to see if possible.

(My last attempt was having different smilie sets per style - that didn't go well either)

seems to work (most of the time) with 3.6 though. I'll test it out at home first I think!

Works perfectly with 3.6.8 It's a must have if you plan on designing skins on your forum.
