. Install VietKey for Admin CP (look for Instructions inside folder: includes)

. Import product-vietkey.xml

The feature of "Disable Features Vietnamese Typing mode in this Forum" is not working. I can type in Vietnamese in that specific forum with either "yes" or "no" option.

Yes, you will see it "Disable" in all forum (admin forum manager) but that ok, only some forum you want to Disable then hit [SAVE] all other let it is (no change).

i thought you'd done these step when you setup your forum. It's meant import vietnamese lang, delete numbers in censorship option > blank character striper
, edit ISO 8859-1 to UTF-8 if you use lang English

uninstall that mod then open the product-vietkey.xml
find

If I change encoding to UTF-8, then it makes everything scrambled.

My live board is really large board with lots of data in Vietnamese encoding and was set up for many years.

My board is using ISO 8859-1 thus I have the same question with hoangminh. TrucLinh, please let us know if you have any solution to make your mod working with ISO 8859-1 too.

It is a nice job. I had this mod for awhile on my board, but I didn't make it complicated like yours.

For those who have ISO 8859-1 on your boards, leave the encoding as is. You will be fine. If you change to utf-8, you will get all character encoding problem.
