DB error-MySQL error

I was 'repairing tables' etc. when this occurred...now I can't get into my site at all. Tried running the most recent backup to no avail. Anyone have an idea how this can be remedied?

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.4:
Invalid SQL:
SELECT COUNT(dateline) AS pcount
FROM post
WHERE dateline > 1186234174;
MySQL Error : Can't open file: 'post.MYI' (errno: 145)

I had 35 other DB errors before this...I can provide them if anyone would like to try and help me out...

Error 1016 is usually can't open file. Which is the error that is displayed. Checc with your server admin to see if space on the server has been taking up. I've heard this can also be cause by a /TMP/ folder not being accessible.

Simply repair the table, either via the ACP maintenance options or phpmyadmin.

I'm pretty sure ZomgStuff used my phpmyadmin...he left his MSN IM addy here...utilize it, and ask him to help you. He's a really nice guy, and trustworthy.

DM, you sound a lot like me...all of that stuff looks Greek to me! And, contrary to what Paul says, it's NOT simple if you're not familiar with it.

It's just 1 database that is causing all these database issue.

Thanks for your Concern , I have my host on it and Im going to bed as ive been up well over 24 hours at this point , I will contact him for possible help tonight ,

As a Note VBAdmin CP should be affected by a table thats corrupt that dont effect admincp or we should atleast be able to access the repair and optimize table page when Vb database is in currupt mode , Hell i read for an hour about MySql repair programs and downloaded all kinds of GNU Binary like programs and im like WHy am i always the first to have any specific problem that im having ARGH!!!!

Use the SQl command ;

REPAIR TABLE tablename

I tried it w/o thje .MYI at the end and i got

Table Op Msg_type Msg_text
dieselbombersforum.vbguest repair warning Duplicate key for record at 483656 against record ...
dieselbombersforum.vbguest repair warning Number of rows changed from 1523 to 1522
dieselbombersforum.vbguest repair status OK

But the sites still down now what?

It appears to be fixing them W?O using the MYI extension by submitting the querys

As soon as i fix one the other pops up ....

Untill no more poped up ... now my sites working

And i ran to repair and optimze tables .....

.Hey If you Have A Bad Table in the MySql and you cant Repair Via your AdminCp ThenUse Phpmyadmin , The the Structure list does not populate 100% then you will have to CLikc the Run Query Icon on the left and Type this

REPAIR TABLE tablename

DO NOT USE THE .MYI Extension

Repeat Process till the Structure list fully populates then select all and repair/optimize then , Then Back up Via in .sql gzipped once its fixed
