using a background body image

How can I get vbulletin to use a background image for the body?

AdminCP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> (From menu on the right) Main CSS

Under the box which says body (should be the first set of boxes) look for Background in the input box use this:
#FFFFFF url(images/LINK_TO_IMAGE) repeat-y top center
