Lets say I have two drastically different themes and need a different set of smilies for each theme.
Is this possible?

Its not a default feature but if you want to be a little creative, you can probably accomplish this with the replacement variables for each style.
(admincp - Styles & Templates - Replacement Variable Manager / Add New Replacement Variable)
I would go by folder names
/forum/images-style1/smilies/
is replaced with
/forum/images-style2/smilies/
That should do the trick...

Unfortunately there are no instances of /images/smilies/ in my forum - its all got to be under '$smilies' (or whatever it is).
Which makes things a lot harder (Or impossible, i dunno).
Any other ideas? :eek:
