View Full Version : How do I add voice to "Image Verification"?

I would like to accommodate our visually impaired clients and want to know how I go about adding voice to the "Image Verification" so they can click "play" to listen to the image instead of trying to read it.

You'll need to get a sound for each letter and number, then have something merge them together.

Really this should be implemented into vBulletin to help cater for disabled users. Just my opinion...

I know the vBulletin developers are already experimenting with voice CAPTCHA's. But i doubt this will be added really soon.

Thats good to hear. The more people that have access to the web (and forums) can only mean better business for administrators.

Well, if you take the time to look at the hack in detail you'd understand.

Replaces the standard image verification with attachment 1

Click on the speaker icon and it produces sound as requested in the 1st post .. attachment 2

I installed reCAPTCHA and everything is working just fine. Thanks for the replies.
