I just updated my www.vBCredits.com (http://www.vbcredits.com/) website with similar layout to my pxl site style,

I managed to find a lot of the bugs in the code/style stopping it from fully intergrating, I'll be updating pxl later with the same changes, however because the layouts are pretty close to the same, I figoured, I'd see if I could get some feedback. On how you guys like the site/layout so far.

I hope to add vbgallery 2.3 - CMPS 3.0 RC1 shortly, Once Zachariah gets it done *winks*

If you guys find any pages I missed, where the round edges push out a bit please let me know.

justupdated navbar a bit as well.

Feedback Welcome... :D

It looks pretty good. That looks like vbAdvanced, right?
You might make that "Staff Only" only show up if they are logged in under a staff username. An IF in the template should do the trick.

Other than that, the navigation is a bit clutterred. Once you get to the forums, you have the site navigation, then the welcome header, and then more navigation elements. You could improve that by removing unused ones (check usage stats), or moving little used items to the footer.

I'm working on trying to clean up the nav more... as we add new stuff .. I recently lastnight added 3 more style changes to the site, for dark red, green and gold. Give users a choice :D

thanks for feedback,

I just redid footer .. although its work in progress. :D Going to update our parent site, and see if I can move some links over to that to cut down on this sites links a bit. :D

I really like the lines, very smooth

Overall very nice; I'd have to agree with tyrion though, as you don't need a double navigation.

Could I ask how you placed the image into the vBa news module???

Which Item? the gallery? or other? ... also the double nav is going bye soon sort.. I'm currently working on specifc home pages for each script we are releasing, I'll have more info on that shorty. Pm me on vbc about graphics and I'll try and work out what your looking at then I can help tell you the best way to do it ;)

Oops NVM. I thought you were including an image in the news module ('Now Testing vBCredits 1.4" & "vbgallery cmps 3.0 rc overlay"). However, it's just your Avatar. :)

great usability of your created functions (sorry, my fault if you are there...)

the darker style is good, but i would prefer a paler scale... because the screen is playing crazy now.. lol

you have a style that you have to NEVER change... keep it clean and crisp like that, it represent well the goal of the site.

Love the style, dark yet still clean, giving me ideas for future styles I make.

I'm not so keen on the scanlines or rather the boldness of them. The scanlines on the outside aren't so bad but they look terrible on the .tcat gradients. Pending you use photoshop, I would seriously change the blending mode for the scanlines to Soft Light (at this point I'm assuming your using photohop) and I would possibly lower the opacity of the scanlines so it doesn't dominate this area.

Nice layout with all the features layed out nicely and images looking consistent with one another (apart from a few select vbulletin stock).

Your winner of mod of the month is showing remnants of an old white background around the edging which could be resolved by cropping the edges (using the correct radius sizes) with the marquee tool then saving it to png format.

Hello,

I have been reviewing over the site. Overall, I would give the site a 9 out of 10. I really like the use of the background image throughout the header area. The header area is well organized, the point is clear and the logo is very nice and clean cut. Your home page is well organized.

I really like the site. Very well done.
