I have a troll attacking my new forum. hes a well known trouble maker and has been banned from nearly all sites of this genre, he has now opened up his own board but still insists on causing trouble elsewhere. last night he had about 10 ip's trying to get in at once. the ones he registered as were not a problem as i could just delete these but he had alot of the ips trying to reply to threads as yuests, what might he have been doing? i have emails from this guy saying amongst other things "Come to think of it I got tricks you aint even heard of .... be like shootin
fish in the barrel" do vbulletin do anything themselves about members like this?
any advice appreciated

"Come to think of it I got tricks you aint even heard of .... be like shootin

lol... sounds like someone with no life...
But, my suggestion is to just keep banning, and IP banning, might not even hurt to try Paul M's miserable user hack.

I suspect you mean a hack entitled "miserable user" rather than a user hack which is miserable which was made by Paul M.
Edit: I see now. Paul has a hack entitled "Miserable Users (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=121886).
