Out of the two uploaded logos which logo is better suited to a "fitness" site, and the best one out of the two?
Thanks in advance.http://www.logodesignforum.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif

I personally like the second one but it may be misleading to those who are just looking for fitness as opposed to weight training.

1- we have a graphics related forum - for next time!
2- it depend on what type of training forum you have... i prefer the first one for a site where you discuss general fitness and health, but the second for training... it's obvious...

They both have good qualities.
Maybe change the image in the 1st one?

Thanks to everyone's input, we ended up going with a "modified" version of the second one.

Be sure to post your final result.
IMO the first one looks very amateurish, but more modern.
The second is a better design, but doesn't use any fancy gradients so it's not as appealing to some.

We just wanted to keep things simple(get the domain across & what we are) and took the second logo and saw what we liked about it than somewhat expanded on that to create the final version.
The thing with the first one that we didn't really like was that those shapes are used alot in the fitness industry and can already be seen in a lot of different fitness logos, and also when someone looks at it for the first instance they may not know it's about "fitness".
With the modified version of the second one, we think that when people look at it say on t-shirts, etc... they will immediately see what the site is.
Overall keeping things simply and using two colors we believe the design we came up with works. Some may like it some may not, but it's kind of simple like a lot of logos out their.
We just ordered some t-shirts with the logo on it so we should be expecting those by next-week! :)
EDIT: SORRY THE RENDER CAME OUT AT BAD QUALITY
