Private Messgae [How do I]

I've been searching through 3.5.x and 3.6.x and can't seem to find it.

What I want is to have the Private Message blink in red

Private Messages: Unread 1, Total 0.

Anyone care to point to the file to download or what to edit?

Well, I want the actually "Private Messages: Unread 1, Total 12" to be blinking.

Make the word "Private Messages" be red.

Manage to find it, so how can i make it only be red once we receive a PM?

Do I have to use <if condition> to accomplish this only to turn red when a user(s) actually receive a PM?

That's a 3.0.x code.
Don't know if that will work for 3.6.7
