Hello all,
Is this site (vbulletin.org) running just one VB licence, or four? I know you can have one installation of VB per licence, but this forum has four different sections, each running VB.
Just curious, because I am hoping to do a similar site to this one.
Thanks in advance.

One. The sections are modified code so that only certain forums show based on what you want.

Is this something that could be done with certain templates though, or does it require some hard work?

vb.org uses one vbulletin license, I don't think it would be that hard to do what they've done here ;)

Well depending on how experienced you are =D
I guess most of it could be done with a little tweaking of GARS

If you're referring to the Articles, Mods, and Styles tabs - then no, that is easy replicated within vBulletin. The sections themselves are merely forums created through the AdminCP that are hidden from the public, unless the direct URL is known; clicking on each tab is taking you to each forum's respective direct URL.
Forums can be hidden by giving them a Display Order of 0.

Although you'll need extra tweaks to make them show up on search & forum jump. Found this out myself with my forum :p.

I always thought it was code modification... Neat!
