country option in user registration page

Is there a plug-in to add a country pop-up menu in user registration page ? I need to split the users when i send the newsletter.

Create a custom profile field and then just choose to show it at the registration page and make it a mandatory option =]

One more thing please :)

I added a vertical menu as custom profile field with 2 options:
italian
not italian

would it possible to automatically change the user vb language based on the selection of that menu when the user clicks to confirm the registration ?
