It is possible to make threads worth more towards the post count?

I was wondering if i could change some forums to make creating a new thread in them worth more towards the post count? I want it so only creating the new thread is worth more.

Anyone know if this can be done? Has anyone done this?

It can be done, but there isn't a setting for it.
