Hi ...

We've created an usergroup called "assistant" with some of moderator access controls and features. In fact, they act as moderators' assistants. We would like to provide them an option with the permission of topic movement ("move topic"). yet no luck, it seems if we give the "move topic" permission they'd be able to access almost all "thread management" options and that's not what we'd like. We couldn't find any solution but thought it might be done using some modifications. Is this possible or are there any hacks/patches available?

All help/hints are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Admincp -> Forums and moderators -> Forum Manager -> Add moderator

The just change the permissions and their primary usergroup to assistant

Here is where i am :

Moderator Manager > Post / Thread Permissions > Can Manage Threads
This permission covers the rest of the thread permissions (stick, merge, split, etc).

Sticking a thread makes it so it always appears at the top of the thread listing. Merging allows a moderator to combine the posts of two threads into one thread. Splitting allows a moderator to split the posts from one thread into two threads.

I just want to give the members of the "assistant group"' the ability of moving topics not all the cababilities of manage threads !

I know how to add moderators, what I want is "not giving all manage threads access to the moderator" . I just want to give my moderator the access of moving thread, Nothing else, thx
