I don't understand what the option in Style and Language settings does, which asks if you want to Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template. It says that it has 2 verticle colums rather than one horizontal layout.

I've selected this both ways, and can't notice ANY difference in the display of my board. What does it do? I'm wondering if this isn't what this site is using on the home page (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/portal.php) where there is a small navigation column to the left and the main body column to the right? Is that what this Legacy Postbit Template is? If not, please do inform me.

Thanks!

This way of viewing a post is the new version of the postbit: Postbit (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=235508), and This is the old version (Legacy): Legacy (http://www.forum.militaryltd.com/special-events/m39855-happy-birthday-turn-ii-rfleischman-07-18-2007-a.htm)

Hope that answers your question :)

Thanks again Roms!

So it doesn't affect my home page, just my post pages, is that correct?

So it has nothing to do with being able to add navigation or links to the left column, is that correct?

I'm still looking for a good way to add a block of links, preferably in the left column, like you guys have here on your home page (floating element blocks in the left column with content). Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Yea it only affects your posts page (postbit). To get the left column Kerry-Anne made a hack that does this on your forumhome.
