hello
there are many of coder and designer in vbulletin.org
they work haredly for free
and that?s really great
but what about if someone develope new third party script
for vbulletin and his project if was complate
powerd by jelsoft and add as new offical product
so I think that usefull from many way:
*coder or designer ...etc will work haredly and get money
*vbulletin will be the big software which have a lot of add on
*also jelsoft will get money
*support will be good cuz there are money
sorry for my language :D

There are many premium addons sold by third parties that hook into vBulletin even now, so I am not sure what you mean.

actually, there are some other projects where coders get paid when they provide sourcecode or complete products for the project, but usually, they do not retrive more... they see their code included in the project, and that's it... no profit on sales, no retributions on large scales...
i'm sure Jelsoft/IB will never go that path because they are a commercial entity...
if you want to get paid for your products, do the same as me... release them commercially on your own site.

Jelsoft will not pump resources just to support a third-party script. It is not their business.

Well I wouldn't say that, they undoubtedly shift units on the basis of the modification community and companies do sometimes support their modification communities for that reason. That is why they host this site, I would assume.
