Hacks to fully customize memebers profile?

Hi everybody!

(first sorry for my english, i'm french)

I'd like to know something.
I did a research on the forum and found lots of things that could be ok for whati want to do, but there is so much hacks, that i don't really know which one will works fine with vb 3.65, which one is better etc....

So here here is what i would like my vbulletin forum does....Can you tell me for each one which one hack is the best (with a link if possible)? It' has to be comaptible with the 3.65 version at least (even if it's not officially supported).

1) Possibility to add a photo gallery in profile, with possibility to write a title and possibility for members added as "buddies" to add comments on each photos. I would like the photo to be thumbs gallery, but could be see fully cliking on it (like with a zoom or something like that)

2) Possibility to receive/send friends request. If you are not accepted, you can't see the member's profile.

3) Add a personal chat in the profile zone, (not a shoutbox) like it exists on myspace.

4) Possibility to let comments on memebers profile (it can be like in myspace, for that, it's not a problem)

7) possibility to report a profile to moderation (for instance, if a picture is a X picture, or if something is wrong on the profile in général)

8) possibility for admin and moderator to delete pictures etc... on members profile if there is a problem with them

9) possibility to set profile on private or public

10) creation of blogs in profile

p.s: i know that something called "myspace profile" could be fine, but i hate what it looks like (as much as i hate it on myspace) especially the background, coz i don't want the background change

I tried it, it's not working whereas everything is installed correctly. Nothing appear. Is it supported by 3.65 version?

I should work with 3.6.5. You probably installed it wrong. Reinstall and dont forget the file changes ;)

i have the configuration menu etc.. it says it's installed, i put the files on my server too (i even have the "no avatar" that appears.... but nothing else. No new fiedls to fill, no zodiac sign... nothing nothing.
To install it, i put the files on the server then i add the product.

You also must edit the member info template to add the place where this new stuff goes. As for blogs, it would probably be best to wait for the vBulletin blogging and social networking add on for that. Because that will allow your members to run their own customisable blogs and stuff.

blogs are not a priority, thats just the cherry on the cake :)

So is this hack does everything i worte??? And is it the ebst solution to do it or is it better to take fifferent hacks more specialized and maybe better?

it does most of the things. You could also consider installing photoplog

2 last questions:

1) i want to translate it in french (personal use) what should i use as software and how do i do that? and do i do it before install it, or after it's installed?

2) do i have to disable stuffs when i install the hack? for instance, the comments on user in vbuleltin, because it exists in the hack...

You don't have to disable other hacks. I have proven or seen that these hacks will work with the Interactive Profiles one installed:

i tired one more time to install interactive Porfile but one more time it doesn't work. During installation i have the messages of the modules well upload and at the bottom i have an error message but i don't know what it means.

i got that error when I installed too. You better inform the hack author

I guess the fact that nothing appears comes from here.

All it does is not add the vbulletin options, everything else should work.

Did you enable them in usergroup options?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i didn't know we had to go in usergroup options!! me i thought only the options in vbuleltin optiosn existed!! im gonna tried :D (im stupid sometimes)

did you read the "read me" file. There are quite a lot of edits to do

i jsut saw that! I mean i thought that it was easier: copy the files in "upload" on the server on the right folders, and import the product, but there is lot of template to modify wow! that's maybe the reason why nothing appears but everything is isntalled :D

but still do'nt know why i have this error message and if it's important or no.

Before install it i need to know how to translate such a hack in french (with sftwares? what do i have to modify? etc..) and wait the authorization of the author to do it, i hope he still comes on this forum
