Style Review

[Mythotical]

Looking for a review of a style that I am currently working on, its not fully complete but IMO I feel there is too much open space so if you wanna give suggestions on how I can fill that space then please state it.

I plan to release it here once its finished so I need to get a little feedback on it before I go through with the release.

I'm not so keen on the gold against that variation of blue. For me, I feel they don't work well together and/or complement each other very well. There's millions of other colours which would work better and I would strongly suggest against the gold implementation.

Maybe another variation of blue would highlight the gold better but I would seriously opt for another colour for your text links if your deciding that this variation of blue is staying.

The black cells (alt1 & alt2) look awfull, I have to be honest but it does though if you keeping this colour ensure that the images applied onto this background are correctly matted so you have a smoother more visually appealing look (this goes for any images).

Some of the forum icons (at the bottom) look nice though ensure you have them correctly saved out so they look seemless (in their current state) they are not.

Overall I'm not keen on the colours at all and from a visual perspective it needs a lot of work.

Thanks alot, I was looking at that gold, it was a temp, the alt1 & alt2 colors though, I figured those fit, I'm gonna see about maybe a lighter blue for those and see what comes out. There is a rounded black background that goes behind the forums themselves which I haven't added in yet as I'm not too sure about that.

I am having new forum/thread icons & buttons made for this style. Those are not finished as of yet.

I changed forum icons to what they planned to be but that blue outer glow is not working so I'm gonna have to come up with something completely different.

Yeh, its a very rough choice of color :). And the images arent looking good on the black, they look choppy and stuff and pixelated. I like the header, though simple...

Yeah I noticed. LOL, I am getting the images redone to be a better fit and I think the black is gonna drop.

Yeah we didn't want to put too much work into the header because this will be a free style released here.
