I saw this thread: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=103536
And I am trying to add it to my forum, but it seems that the instructions for: Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> ? ? -> PHP Include Code Templates -> phpinclude_start
seem to be outdated. How do you do this in the newer versions?

actually, you do not have to do this in 3.6... that is now an integrated feature... since 3.5 !!

Really? On all of my installations of 3.6.7 it doesn't have any meta description, and certainly doesn't read the content of the first post into a meta description.

I'm not sure what he is referring to, but what you want certainly isn't a default feature.

Do you know what a meta description tag is? I am trying to get my meta description tags on the thread pages to contain the first say 20 words of post #1 from that thread.
