Registration error, Help

Hi, recently I've recived these errors whenver ppl try to register, how can i fix them?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IF in /home/nihonoma/public_html/forum/register.php(880) : eval()'d code on line 5

Fatal error:
• The following users were not found:
1. user1
Unable to proceed with save while $errors array is not empty in class vb_datamanager_pm in /includes/class_dm.php on line 765

I did install this proxy mod, it prevent ppl that register with proxies and ban them, i unistall it and the second error dissapeared ! but the first error this one didn't dissapear.

That first error ^ been with me for 3 weeks and don't know what to do about it.

Oh Ya i think i installed a refferal hack to that u have to put who reffered u to my forum if you want to.

Try disabling it...

I suggest doing the following:

In your Admincp find Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions and hit submit.If there are any files that don't match up, reupload them.


Next, create a new style by doing the following:
Styles & Templates -> Style Manager ->[Add New Style]

Now finally edit your /includes/config.php fileFind

<?php Add below

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);


Now, once you have done those steps try doing it again, using the new style you made.

If you still get an error I suggest opening a ticket at vBulletin.com.


If it works, try removing the line you added to your config file, if you get the error it means its a modification causing the error, if you use another style, it means the style is the problem and so on.

It is that refferal mod that causing it, when i disable it , the error didn't show up ;o
