Replace image in quote with link

Well, the title says it all. I have been looking for something that does just that: when someone quotes an image, the image is replaced with text, something like "[image]" (which could then be a link to the image in question).

I know a mod like this used to exist for vB2, but now we're finally upgrading to vB3.6. ;)

Very actively seeking this modification! My users are fed up with people quoting someone who posted 10 images, all being reposted multiple times in the thread...
