AOL not accepting mail

I sent the activation code to an AOL address and I got this reply:

Your mail to the following recipients could not be delivered because they are not accepting mail from admin@mysite.com:
username

What could be the problem?

if your email is admin@mysite.com, sure it will be refused... use your generic email in the config.php file.

I have my personal email address under the technical email address, what should I change it to?

I just sent another email to an AOL address and it went thru fine.

Your outgoing email should come from an email address of the domain name, not your personal email address.

Please submit a ticket to your host and ask from the failed AOL email log that it was sent to, if the above dont fix it, the log will show us more detail as to how your email is being sent out fro mthe server to AOL.

Did you modify that error to not include your own email? If you did, AOL may have blacklisted your domain/IP.
