I dream about next modification :) :
Now by default there are 3 elements which you can turn off/on:
Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Show Images
By why not to make mod which will work same for all other parts of forum? For example, to hide/show vbShout, hide/show vbGallery images on FORUMHOME and MEMBERINFO, show/hide Top X Statistic and even to show/hide some forums.
So what mod have to do:
1. Add additional box (f.e. "Forum Display Options") to "Thread Display Options" or to "Miscellaneous Options".
2. Add checkbox to new box, text of name-field will be entered by Admin (f.e. "Show vbShout on forum top").
Then Admin of a forum have to open "Styles & Templates", choose Style, chose template (f.e . "FORUMHOME"), and enter about and under part of text which he want to hide some tags (f.e. "<!-- %visible_mod[1] --> ...vbShout Box code... <!-- /%visible_mod[1] -->")
3. Now user can check/uncheck this field to show/hide vbShout.
P.S. Additionally mod can be even better, if it possible to make choice between checkbox and radiobuttons.
For example, for vbShout:
Hide vbShout
Show vbShout under Navigation Bar
Show vbShout under Forums
More correct to name this mode Additional fields in UserCP.
Moderators, please, change thread name.
