Ok before I start and get the people telling me my forum is crap etc etc please don't and note this.

Graphic design on this forum is poor I have just set this forum up graphic desing is being done slow and surly I don't want views on appearance as right now even I will say it is VERY POOR.

However reviews on the idea of the forum would be great and if you think the service will be helpful or not etc would be much appreciated.

Basically I wanted a forum where people can download open source software and for vbulletin hacks and mods and styles as well but can also download open source scripts CGI PHP and Web Templates but also have a place to chat about coding issues and sales and hosting issues etc like a webmasters forum.

There is also a products section for people to submit prenium mods that cost and support forums to give users support on them in the products section people can also sell other items anything and everything graphic home products etc.

Basically it is a forum about everything but keeps the vbulletin theme as well.

It is FREE to advertise on there 100% FREE to advertise web hosting service graphic design it is also free to add upload and download mods in the open source downloads area.

Please visit sign up and looking for help on this forum so drop me a private message on there and hope you find it useful I will be adding more scripts to the downloads area some personal mods for vbulletin and some more such as MySpace and YouTube clone.

There is already live help software from myself on there free to download in the downloads section completely open source please have a look tell me what you think.

Thanks

~Rick~

Oh just an additional note if you have a script you want to sell on there for profit as well or a web template or any service you can find it on there and advertise services and get freelancer jobs as well.

Just so you know :)

Ok, on a side note, not sure if you have already or not, but I BELIEVE you have to get permission from Jelsoft/vBulletin to have the domain name vbdownloads.org. Once again, not sure if you have already asked them or not, but it would be a good measure on your part if you do/did. Chances are, they will say go ahead but have something saying your site is not affiliated with Jelsoft.

I'll take a look at your site a little later tonight though. But from the sounds of it, it may be a site I'll be a part of ;)

Its legal to have vb but not vbulletin because vbulletin is a registered trademark

Oh, ok. I thought it was both vB and vBulletin. Well, nevermind then :)

I am unable to register on your site. I check the "Agree to Forum Rules" box and click register and it says

You have chosen not to accept the forum rules, so registration can not continue.

Click here (http://vbdownloads.org/index.php?) to return to the main forums page, or click the 'Back' button on your browser if you now want to agree with the forum rules.
Might want to take a look at that ;)

i don't know why you named your site with a VB extension if vBulletin is not the central product you will spread on your site...

also, i will have to alert you that if i find one of my tools released on your site, i sue you for non respect of the copyrights... be aware that i'm not the only coder here that will not be happy to find his work on such site.

the design is not important... downloads.com have a crappy skin, and they have great content.

No skin =\
Nothing to review on that part...
The branding option looks good

Ok firstly it is legal like Enigma1234 said vbulletin in your name is illegal vb is not RedLine you have signed up now so hopefuly you worked around that issue as there is no errors with the registration page welcome to the site.

VB extension well BECAUSE it is going to be based around vbulletin but since many people run a site alongside vbuletin and love to have there site integrate with there forum I wanted it about anything and everything as well. So we now have a guestbook script.

Now am not sure nexialys why you have took such offense to my site and have been so rude there I am a coder myself not specifically for vbulletin but I do my own scripts like LiveDeskPro which is available for download. I hate my work getting taken credit for.

Therefor we get coders permissions before we place them on there and coders permissions ONLY but they are FREE to sign up themselves and proivde there mods on there just like you are and for prenium mods we have a section you can upload them to and it integrates directly to your paypal account so you can charge for your mod and get money from it right away.

I suppose you can't ask for a review at vbulletin.org without someone kicking up a stink lol :)

Thanks to everyone else for your support though coders please head on over there and provide your hacks :) FREE or charged.

No, vB is not a registered trademark, and that wouldn't work anyway--Visual Basic?

I think anything can work, as long as you promote it and work hard on it :)
