Hello,
My site has been going down constantly.
I have a Joomla frontend and Vbulletin backend. Using bbpixel to link the two databases. I have average of 5000 hits a day and max of about 200 concurrent users.
My hosting plan is enterprise@$135/month.
Any recommendations for alternatives pleas?

VPS is still consider as another shared hosting except with a little more resource that can handle than a regular shared host.
It's time to move to a dedicated server.

I've been with asmallorange for three years on lowly shared hosting, my stats are slightly less than yours but not significantly and my total accumulated downtime over those 3 years (due to them) is about 2 hours.
I'd request moving to a different server is all.

I think it's time for you to move on to a dedicated since your forum is huge. I can hook you up with a great and best host but the question is, how much is your budget? Are you willing to pay for something that is even higher than $250/monthly?

I use dediwebhost.com and only pay $95 per month for mine with cpanel and WHM. I love it, and the server uptime has been great. I admit, though, I use PlatinumServerManagement for support and security.
