how to forward forum page

say its www.mysite.com/forums and now i change it to www.mysite.com/board

when people visit /forums can i make it so they get redirected to /board?

Search on here for "htaccess" ;).

And use a 301 redirect in it.

Make sure it's a 301 and not a 302. The latter can cause you grief with SEs.
