Outgoing RSS

Ok, I've read quite a bit of info on how to display other people's rss feeds in your forum.

I was wondering if it's possible to develop an rss feed from my forum? I'm don't know a lot about RSS so it'd be great if someone could point me in the right direction.

What I'd like to do is develop rss feeds from particular forums. Eg a feed from the news forum.

I've seen 100 times where everyone references those instructions -- but I can't get the forum limit to work. Even though I use http://www.mopowerstyle.com/forums/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=157 -- I get all of the public forums in the feed. Three hours reading post here and I appear to be the only one in this world to ever have this problem.

Ok -- it would appear that MKportal is the one doing the ignoring of the forum filter.
