Problems with tournaments: Players getting eliminated early, etc.

I don't know what is causing this....

People on my site are complaining that there are some major issues with the tournaments. People are getting eliminated early before even playing a game in the tournaments. Other players are getting stuck because they can't advance after their opponent was auto-eliminated. I don't have a clue what could be causing this. We currently have the site set to let remind after 2 days without playing and to disqualify after 3 days without playing. People are being eliminated the first day though....

Has anyone run into this issue and is there any fix for this? Seems like this issue is really causing some friction with some members of my site....

had the same issues, i have stopped tournaments for our members.
it is caused by a member closing browser before score is submitted or refreshing the page before waiting for the game to complete

My members are having to do this too:

if you've been playing a game for too long it logs you out....but the best way to do it, is if your running up a high score and you've been playing for too long, is to open another window, log back in..then open your first window back up and submit...you won't lose your score...

when you open the new window, it'll tell you whether your still logged in or not, so its an easy way to make sure your score will stand..
