Print Single Post (3.5.4)

How can one add a Print This Post link to the Postbit template. I can add the link ok but have no idea on what is needed to show a printable version of a single post?

I have the same question, albeit for v4.0.x. I would like to be able to print a single (chosen) post from a thread, not the whole thread!
