New attachments

hey guys, i run a forum where every attachment is a new file for the members to download. i mean none of my attachments are basic images or text files, they are mostly used to update software so members have to download.

now i was wondering if there was a way to display the "last 10" or "newest" files in the navbar or below the forums? basically is it possible to display the latest attachments like we can display the latest threads?

Or maybe display the new threads from specific forums (ie from a files forum)
