I found the thread on vBulletin.com (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158887) for adding the last 10 (or whatever number you want) posts/threads on the forum index page, but I do not the style of it.
I found this website, and would love to see my latest threads displayed like this:
