Help... Categories

Hi. I added new categories for my 30+ games. I went through and updated each game to the appropriate category. Now I go through each game and some of them only show the defaul, some show the category list. So I tried to set all the games back to the default category and some of them have a ------------- in the category. I really wanted to get the category thing working, but I think the more I try, the more it is messing up... Can someone help. There isn't a optimize/repair table feature that I think is needed....

Yes sir... but when I noticed my first game showed only default... I went to that setting and it somehow went back to the default and off.

I then list my categories and see only the default... but some games show the list. I am totally messed up I think....

This is really strange... Today everything is back to normal :scratchinghead: I am not sure what happened, but all my categories are listing properly again.

Let me ask... must I "close" my forums whenever I make changes like the categories? I may have had some users in playing games when I attempted to create the categories and update each game to the new category.

If I have more problems, I'll PM you with admin info so you can look. Thanks for your offer to help...

PM sent... I need help... I can't even get the categories to appear in my games... but they list out when I list them.... very strange!

I PM'd you a few days ago.... I have been patiently waiting for help... Once again, I am seeing the categories list out, but I don't see any categories when editing or installing a game. All of my games have this ---------------- in the category field. I don't know what I done wrong or what to do to fix it.... Please help.... ~ Ed

Hi and thanks for your offer. I was able to figure it out. It was my categories. I had to delete them... All is fine again. Thank you...
