How can I put a banner on the right column of my forum?

Here is the image , I want to put my banners (image or swf) on the right side..My forum style is fixed and dont want to be changed..Can u help me please? I did a lot of self learning with template edits and did most of the stuff for my forum but I am stucked at this problem..
