I've heard nothing but bad things about their quality and support. If you're hosting a small to mediocre size forum, try www.ixwebhosting.com . I've had maybe 30 minutes of downtime in the 6 months since I bought hosting there. 24/7 chat and phone support, great CP, check em out.

For vBulletin most feedback about Godaddy has been negative. It's supposedly an okay domain registrar and possibly for static sites, but for vBulletin forums, or interactive, database powered sites it is not recommended.

A client of mine bought hosting there and I told him I wouldn't work unless he switched hosts. They have practically no support for .htaccess, you can't access anything above your public webspace -- so storing files above the root is out of the question, and they don't even have cPanel; they've got some Frankensteined monstrosity they call a Control Panel, which must be some sort of joke to them.

Avoid them, and find a real host instead.
