removing postcount rank from admin, again

I'm getting both the rank image based on postcount and image for admin displayed for the admin, when I want just the admin rank image. I tried following the advice in this thread (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=112510), but the result was no rank images were displayed for admin at all. What am I doing wrong here?
