Since vbulletin's infraction system is not very advanced and lacks basic features for my board, I'd like to start up a comparison between the various available mods.
So far I have found the following mods. If I missed any, please post this.
Advanced Warning System 3.6.1 (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=124477)
Supported, beta stage, installs 122, last update: June 7
"Smith" Warning System (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=132131)
Supported, installs 132, Difficulty: easy, Last update: November 2006

Does no one have an opinion on this?

My opinion is probably the same as most - why install another mod when you have a warning system built in.

I don't moderate (warn and ban) for the most part, due to the nature of my main forum, and my other forum hasn't picked up enough to really do any kind of moderation. But, from what I can see the built in warning system would work just fine for me, and as I imagine would for most.

Because I'd like to:
Have a different default warning text for every different infraction level. Currently my mods have to paste or write a message every time, while it can be automated. That is what would safe the time/work.
Have the warning PM include a quote of the post where the violation is.
Display the ban reasons to the member and in the "view banned members" list, when a member is automatically banned. i.e. display all given infractions.
Be able to see expired infractions.
Be able to place members in a infraction group without them loosing all access they have in their current group.
More flexibility/control over how infraction points affect a user.
Be able to give infractions from member profile and reported PM
Warnings to affect reputation
Warnings to be displayed at the post which the warning was for
