help urgently.

im currently workign on a hack for new posting features what it does is if the forumid matches one of them set in the admin settings forumid array then it loads a different New Thread template instead of the normal one and it has all different fields which are in a different database table but i want it to show as a normal thread with the new content but the replies must be normal replies its just like the first post of the thread is different to the other forums ?

any ideas.
