My board posts quotes before the quoted post

sometimes when someone quotes a post on my board (using 3.6.4) it posts the post with the quote before the quoted post.

so 1 person does post a.
another quotes post a, which is now post b.
post b ends up being seen before post a.

it is a recent thing that occurred. probably about 2 weeks ago. the board has been running fine for about 6 months now other than that issue. i havent changed any settings and i repaired and optimized the tables, but i really have no expertise on this. any help would be great.

yeah.... it does it out of random.. it puts my post above someone elses even though I posted it after..

a couple of times I have seen the post time and it's exactly the same.. so I'm thinking it might be a matter of extending the post clock to include seconds..

but I don't know how that all works.


i had this problem and it was the server time all stuffed up, if the server times off your forum posts go everywhere.

i just had another problem where the threads went to the last page so i had to remake all the forums.

but yeah mate thats like a server issue i'd be contacting them.

but hey i could be wrong but it happened to me and i told me host and it ended up being the server time stuffing up.
